How Does TempSure Envi Work?

TempSure Envi uses radiofrequency energy to gently warm the delicate skin around your eye. The procedure helps stimulate cell renewal by releasing trapped oils in the meibomian glands and surrounding eye tissue.

The result can be a healthy, lubricated ocular surface. Tear flow and production are regenerated, which can relieve the redness and irritating symptoms of dry eye.

What to Expect During Your Treatment

How to Prepare for Treatment

Our team at Overlake Family Vision helps you get ready for your RF treatment. Here are some things you should consider while you prepare for your treatment:

You should arrive well-hydrated and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Do not use exfoliating or chemical peeling products for one week before your appointment.
Remove all makeup on the day of treatment.
Wait 2 weeks after Botox or filler injections before your RF treatment.

What to Expect Post-Treatment

After the procedure, you might have slight redness caused by the skin’s elevated temperatures during treatment, but it will subside soon afterward.

You can return to normal activities immediately with minimal to zero downtime.

Follow-Up Care

At Overlake Family Vision we prioritize your safety, RF therapy is not advisable for:

Pregnant women
Individuals with Pacemakers or internal defibrillators
Individuals currently on Accutane medicine that makes you photosensitive and at risk of burning

Please wait 6 months post-Accutane treatment to opt for RF therapy.
